It begins in Old Florida...
Our Co-Founders are more than just founders—they’re family: father and daughter. Camille grew up immersed in the world of transmissions, watching Roly build nearly half a century of experience in the automotive industry and stay up late designing the patents that would become the foundation of RidgeRock Expedition Vehicles.
Their bond was forged in Old Florida. As an impassioned outdoorsman, Roly brought Camille into the wetlands from the time she was a baby. Together, they woke before sunrise to explore the Pine Flatwoods—a shared love of the outdoors that became central to their relationship.
Though they shared these adventures, the automotive world remained largely a man’s domain. Camille’s early exposure was observational; she often heard friends and customers lament to her father, “Too bad you don’t have a son to carry on the business.” Still, she continued to draw inspiration from her father.
After leaving Florida to pursue higher education and a different career, Camille couldn’t ignore her passion for nature and innovation. She couldn’t shake the fact that she didn’t need to be a son to see where her father’s product could go—she could easily see it. She returned to elevate Roly’s ingenious creation—the patented RidgeRock Rig—and to help RidgeRock Expedition Vehicles reach its full potential.
Today, Camille and Roly run the company together, both celebrating invention, creativity, exploration, freedom, and individuality.
